Waterproof – Including the Seams

A high waterproof rating alone does not always mean that an entire garment is waterproof. With Stavanger, all seams are also waterproof taped, helping prevent moisture from entering through stitching.

The combination of a 12,000 mm water column and fully taped seams makes Stavanger particularly suitable for wet snow, slush and unpredictable winter weather.

Warm Yet Highly Breathable

Stavanger combines 2/3 thermal insulation with maximum 3/3 breathability. It provides warmth for temperatures down to approximately –20°C while allowing moisture generated during active movement to escape efficiently.

On colder days, warmth can be increased with a technical or merino wool base layer and a fleece or wool mid layer.

More Responsible Materials

Stavanger uses recycled fibres and recycled insulation. The material is bluesign® approved, and no PFAS chemicals have been used.
